Let's Recycle Responsibly!

The Gypsum Community Recycling Site, located by Ridley's Market at the end of Oak Ridge Dr., offers DUAL STREAM and cardboard recycling for Gypsum residents. It's important for those using the site to recycle responsibly, so our community recycling area remains accessible and operable. Recently there have been several misuses of this site, with users treating it as a dump site for any and all trash items, and contaminating various recycling bins. The site is under 24-hour surveillance, and violators can be ticketed and fined for misuse, per Title 8 of the Gypsum Municipal Code.

For recycling to work...

• The correct items must be placed in the appropriate bin.
• Do not place entire plastic trash bags filled with recycled items in the recycling bins. You must dump the recycling contents out of the plastic trash bag and into the proper bin.
