Fall Passport Saturday!

For your added convenience, the Gypsum Town Hall will be open this Saturday, September 17th for Passport Services!

No need to take the kids out of school or take time off from work. Just print & fill out your passport forms and stop by the Gypsum Town Hall, 9:00am-2:30pm.  Appointments are recommended and walk-ins will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.

The next Passport Saturday will take place March 18, 2023, 9:30am-2:30pm.

TOP 10 PASSPORT TIPS

1. To make your trip to Gypsum as efficient as possible, please do your homework by reviewing all information on our Passport Services page, as well as at the State's Passport Page, and please call us (M-F, 8am-5pm) at (970) 524- 1752 with any questions before making the trip to Town Hall.
   
   
2. If possible, to save time, please print, fill out, and bring the passport applications for all members of your family to Town Hall. PASSPORT FORMS
   
   
3. Your must bring originals (NOT copies) of important documents, such as Birth Certificates, with you.
   
   
4. All passport applicants must be present. This includes all minors.
   
   
5. Both parents must be present for minor (age 15 & under) passport applicants -exceptions apply. MORE INFO
   
   
6. For youth passports (ages 16 & 17) it is recommended that one parent be present. MORE INFO
   
   
7. Most passport renewals can be done by mail. So no need to come to Town Hall if you can answer YES to these five questions.
   
   
8. We provide passport photo services for ages 3 & up. Passport photos for ages 2 & under must be taken elsewhere (Walmart, Walgreens, or Copy Copy) and we recommend wearing dark clothes in your passport photo.
   
   
9. Currently, processing times are delayed - Standard passports are now 8-11 weeks and Expedited is 5-7 weeks. MORE INFO
   
   
10. Separate payments are needed for fees during your visit to Town Hall. Please bring multiple checks or money orders with you for: 

• Passport Processing fee, paid separately to the Town of Gypsum that may be paid with cash, check, or card.
• Passport Book or Card fee, paid separately to the Department of State that may be paid with a check or money order ONLY to be mailed with your application to the Department of State.
• If opting for any Additional Passport Services, such as expedited, file search, or overnight return delivery, these fees must be paid separately to the Department of State with a check or money order ONLY to be mailed with your application to the Department of State.
