Induction Stove Rental Program Now Live!

Launched October 31st, Englewood library card holders can now check out an induction stove kit for FREE utilizing their library card. 

This program was made possible through the city's Sustainability Grant program. Induction stoves help progress sustainability through their high energy efficiency and by not emitting air pollution via the combustion of natural gas. 

Launched in June 2024, this new FREE program for Englewood, Littleton, and Sheridan businesses provides one-on-one technical assistance to help businesses improve on their sustainability -- both environmentally and operationally. Applications are now open for the city's boards and commissions, including the Sustainability Commission!

City of Englewood is thrilled to have been awarded $33,000 from the State of Colorado via their Fleet Zero grant program. If award funds are approved by City Council, funds will go towards installing three dual port level two chargers at the city's service center. These chargers will be key in helping the city transition at least 20% of is light-duty fleet to electric by 2030, a goal listed in the city's 2023 Electric Vehicle Action Plan.

The VXC program helps income-qualified Coloradans recycle and replace their old or high-emitting vehicles with electric vehicles (EVs). The VXC rebate partially covers the upfront cost of the EV at the time of purchase or lease from an authorized automobile dealer. Learn more here.
