Public Hearing for 1314 West Oxford Avenue (Former Sam's Automotive Property) 🎤
A public hearing for a proposed planned unit development and major subdivision at 1314 West Oxford Avenue (former Sam's Automotive property) is scheduled before the Englewood City Council on Monday, March 6 at 6 p.m. at 1000 Englewood Parkway in the Council Chambers.
Public input on the project is encouraged. Call 303-762-2430 or email CityClerk@englewoodco.gov prior to March 6 for directions on providing public testimony virtually or in person at the public hearings. Written comments may be sent to commdev@englewoodco.gov anytime prior to the public hearings.

This program is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and explore what it’s like working for city government, developing and refining your skillset.
Lawn Replacement Program 🏡
Converting a thirsty lawn into a low-water landscape can be exhausting! The City of Englewood has partnered with the nonprofit Resource Central to offer a new Lawn Replacement Program to help. Jumpstart your water-saving landscape project with Resource Central to physically remove and compost a section of your lawn for as little as $1.00 per square foot. This will help get you one step closer to planting the low-water garden you’ve always dreamed of!
2023 Art Exhibits 🎨
The Englewood Public Library is hosting a series of art exhibits! Prepare for a year of awe-inspiring work from local artists. Submit personal pieces for consideration based on any of the following themes:
- April 6 – May 31: Great Outdoors
- June 8 – August 3: Summer Reading Program: All Together Now
- August 10 – October 5: Steampunk
- October 12 – December 7: Found Objects
- December 17 – February 8: Photography
The rotating exhibits will be held at the Englewood Public Library. The library is looking for four to six artists to display one to two pieces inspired by each theme.

The City of Englewood’s quarterly magazine informs residents about city news and programs, and recreational and educational activities and events in the community. The magazine is mailed to all businesses and households within the city limits. That’s 18,500 total addresses! The magazine is also available online at englewoodco.gov, the Malley and Englewood Recreation Centers, library and Civic Center.
