Fourth of July fireworks will be lighting up the skies on Saturday, July 3 🎇
Who's ready for the 4th of July fireworks show? Join us on Saturday, July 3 from 5 - 10 p.m. at Belleview Park and Cornerstone Park. Starting at 5 p.m. grab your spot then enjoy a spectacular firework display at 9:15 p.m.
Thank you to the Littleton, Sheridan, Arapahoe County and the South Suburban Parks and Recreation for partnering with us to make this event happen for our communities.
Nathan Hoag: Englewood's 2021 Citizen of the Year Winner 🎉
The City of Englewood has named Sacred Grace Church pastor and Englewood Police Chaplin Nathan Hoag as the community’s Citizen of the Year 2021!
Recipients of the award exemplify outstanding volunteer or philanthropic dedication to the Englewood community, and that is evident in the many ways Hoag has donated his time to helping others.
We are an All America City Finalist 🎉
The National Civic League has announced the finalists for the 2021 All-America City Award. These finalists represent the diversity of American communities from the largest cities to the smallest towns, from east to west and north to south. Englewood is one of only 20 finalists! Woohoo! All finalists will present virtually June 7-9 to compete for a chance to win recognition as one of ten All-America Cities for 2021.
Projects to Follow on Englewood Engaged 🤝
We have launched a brand-new community engagement platform that gives you the opportunity to follow along with the projects and topics that you are most interested in. Current projects and topics you can follow include: US-285 & S. Broadway Project, Emerald Ash Borer, Oxford Avenue Pedestrian Bridge, CityCenter Redevelopment, Depot Prairie Pocket Park the Neighborhood Resources Program and the Volunteer Program.

What is a Day of Service? Day of Service is hosted by Neighborhood Rehab Project and invites homeowners into a dignified process that enables them to be involved in addressing their household needs, learning maintenance skills and building community relationships.
Volunteers in Englewood address warm, dry and safe needs within family and individual homes. Do you or someone you know need help with a house project in Englewood?
Check out Depot Pocket Park located at 601 W. Dartmouth Ave. 🐝
This park is in the process of becoming a low-water, biodiverse habitat to support pollinators and wildlife, and provide an education site for Englewood residents and schools.

9th Annual Jeremy Bitner Fallen Officer 5k/10k Run/Walk 👮♂️
Registration is now open for the 9th Annual Jeremy Bitner Fallen Officer 5k/10k Run & 5k Walk. The event will take place on Saturday, June 19 at Cornerstone Park. The Englewood Police Department has worked closely with Tri-County Health, South Suburban Parks & Recreation, the City of Englewood and USA Track & Field in order to implement a variance and multiple safety measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable event. Proceeds raised from The Jeremy Bitner Fallen Officer 5K/10K run/walk benefit the Fallen Officer Fund, which assists the families of fallen law enforcement officers in Colorado.
