Digital Access Updates
Colorado’s Digital Access Coalition
In the coming months, Colorado’s Digital Access Team will be working to strengthen connections between diverse organizations as it stands up a statewide digital access coalition. Coalitions can have tremendous impact in increasing digital access in several ways, including advocacy, alignment and networking.
Digital equity coalitions have existed across the country for many years. At this moment, when funding for digital access has been inconsistent, the importance of organizations and communities working together to identify priorities and efficiencies when it comes to digital access has become increasingly important.
The National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA)’s Coalition Guidebook provides useful information on coalition building, structure and function. The Digital Access Team will use this guidebook and other resources as references as it shifts to the statewide coalition structure. We encourage anyone interested in participating in Colorado’s Digital Access Coalition meetings to review NDIA’s guidebook for context, definitions, and more! The next Digital Access Coalition meeting is on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

In Case You Missed It: Path Forward for Digital Access Report
In July, the Digital Access Team partnered with Visible Network Labs to launch the Path Forward for Digital Access survey. The responses are available as a new tool that visualizes state-wide partnerships: the Path Forward for Digital Access Report. It will be updated periodically as the data is analyzed. Note: It may take a few minutes for the report to load.
Join the Discussion! Attend the next Colorado Digital Access Coalition meetings to discuss this new tool.
