Happy Friday! In this week's Bulletin, we are sharing an update for our June Connections Hour, exciting summer and volunteer opportunities at Aspen Camp, a save-the-date for Deaf Awareness Night with the Colorado Rapids, and an important survey regarding weather warnings and safety.
 June Connections Hour Update & DOVE Trivia Night: Please note that our regular June Connections Hour scheduled for Saturday, June 20, has been canceled. But do not worry—you can still hang out with us at a different event! Our Division team is heading up to Greeley to host a networking booth at DOVE's Trivia Night Fundraiser on Friday, June 19, and we would love to see you there.
This fun, multi-round trivia competition is a great chance to connect with the community, win amazing prizes, and support a vital cause. All funds raised go directly to DOVE's Emergency Victim Services Fund, which provides lifesaving support for victims facing emergency needs like food, medical and legal fees, relocation, and housing assistance.

Aspen Camp 2026 Summer Registration & Volunteer Opportunities: Registration is officially open for Aspen Camp's 2026 Summer Camp. Packed with outdoor fun and hands-on exploration, campers can dive into thrilling activities like white-water rafting, ropes courses, rock climbing, horseback riding, caving, and more. Spots are limited and fill quickly, so be sure to secure your spot! Scholarships are also available to help make camp accessible for families.

 5th Annual Deaf Awareness Night with the Colorado Rapids: Mark your calendars and grab your tickets early for our 5th Annual Deaf Awareness Night with the Colorado Rapids! Because September is National Deaf Awareness Month, this event is the perfect opportunity to gather our community for a fantastic night of soccer. This year's event is all about enjoying the game and connecting with one another. The link to purchase tickets is officially live, and we highly encourage you to purchase yours as soon as possible to ensure a great headcount for the stadium!

 Weather Warnings and Safety Survey: Jacksonville State University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center have issued a final reminder to participate in their short, NOAA-funded survey regarding your experiences receiving and understanding weather warnings and safety information. If you are 18 or older and identify as d/Deaf or Hard of Hearing, your input is incredibly valuable to this important study! The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and all responses will be kept strictly confidential.

- Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older and identify as d/Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Time Commitment: Less than 10 minutes.

Calendar Content Updates: Going forward, the Division will exclusively feature events that we are hosting or attending. All Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) public meetings are published online, including the quarterly meetings for the Colorado Commission for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind Advisory Council.
