Structure Fire 4600 Block White Rock Circle

Boulder County, Colo.At approximately 3:37 AM the Boulder County Communications Center received a 911 call from a female reporting a domestic disturbance in her apartment located in the 4600 block of White Rock Circle.  Upon the arrival of deputies the interior of the apartment was on fire.  The original caller and the adjacent apartments were subsequently evacuated.  In the interim, members of the Boulder Fire, Mountain View, Rocky Mountain, Boulder Rural and Louisville Fire Protection Districts responded to extinguish the fire.  Fire crews rescued a male from inside the residence and he was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. 

American Medical Response and Boulder Emergency Squad also responded to assist on scene. 

Displaced neighbors have been moved to a nearby community space and will be in contact with Boulder County Sheriff's Office Advocates and American Red Cross personnel. 

As of the time of this press release, Sheriff's Office detectives are on scene and continuing the investigation.  The investigation will be documented under Sheriff's Office case report 17-2320.
