Update: Owner of Timberline Lodge Assisted Living Arrested
Christopher Butler arrested for financial exploitation of elderly residents
Boulder County, Colo. - The State of Colorado
Health Facilities and Emergency Medical Services Division is working closely
with the families of residents. All immediate family members have been contacted
by the State and if anyone has questions about a loved one they should contact
the State of Colorado Health Facilities and Emergency Medical Services
Division. The Timberline Lodge will remain open and serving their clients until
family members have the opportunity to find appropriate living arrangements.
The staff of the Timberline Lodge is working closely with this State
agency and continues to provide care for their clients. It is always
preferable to have clients remain in the facility where they live and have
become accustom to residing, as long as they are safe. The investigation has
not uncovered any situations where the clients were at physical risk. Boulder County Sheriff's Office case number 15-4820.
