DWR is preparing to launch Regional Forums across the state to learn from communities and water experts about local water challenges, priorities, and solutions, and how they can help shape California’s water future. The Regional Forums will bring together experts from local water and government agencies, Tribes, academia, and organizations involved in water management and policy using a mix of in-person and virtual Regional Forums that will take place between late 2026 through the spring of 2028.
DWR invites you to a virtual Regional Forums Kick-Off. Participants will learn about the CWP, how to contribute information and perspectives to the planning process, and what to expect at upcoming Regional Forums across the state. Additional information, including the meeting agenda, will be shared soon.
