New Year's Weekend Service Information 12/29 – 1/1

Happy Holidays, Please note our holiday hours and upcoming service adjustments to see how your commute may be affected: 

Friday December 29th: 

• VTA Service will operate on regular schedule
• ACE will operate only the 5:35 AM & 6:40 AM trips leaving Stockton in the morning and the 3:35 PM & 4:35 PM trains leaving San Jose in the afternoon. ACE Shuttles will operate in conjunction with the adjusted ACE train schedule.

Sunday December 31st:
Let VTA be your designated driver to and from your holiday celebrations Ride FREE on light rail & bus lines from 8 p.m. New Year’s Eve until 5:00 a.m. New Year’s Day!* - Light Rail and Express 181 will be running on a modified schedule on New Year's Eve. More information on NYE service can be found on this page

Monday January 1st

• Fare Changes begin
• Bus and Light Rail Service Changes take effect
• VTA offices will be closed & all service will operate on a Sunday Schedule. If your route does not normally operate on Sundays it will not be in service
• ACE train & shuttles will not be in service
• Dumbarton Express will not be in service
• Hwy 17 Express will operate weekend/holiday schedule 
• MST 55 Express will operate weekend/holiday schedule
