The San Ramon Trails Challenge 2021 has begun, and registration is ongoing for summer camps and recreation programs.
Below are the latest updates for the San Ramon community.
Contra Costa County Exceeds 1 Million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Administered
On April 24, Contra Costa Health Services reported that 1,010,267 COVID-19 vaccines had been administered in Contra Costa County, including those performed by CCHS, local hospitals, pharmacies and other community healthcare providers. This goal of administering 1 million vaccine doses has been met well ahead of the expected date of July 4 and even a month before the revised goal of Memorial Day, according to a press release from Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS).
Nearly 630,000 of Contra Costa residents are now at least partially vaccinated – 67.8 percent of the county's 16-and-older population – and nearly 430,000 were fully vaccinated, or 46.4 percent.
Every Californian 16 and up is eligible for COVID-19 vaccination. Appointments can be scheduled through MyTurn, Contra Costa Health Services, and several partner providers.
CCHS also offers vaccine clinics that do not require appointments – learn more at the CCHS Walk-In Vaccinations page – and a new mobile vaccination service for residents who are homebound.
