COVID-19 Update: Appointments at San Ramon Drive-Thru Vaccine Clinic, Libraries to Reopen for Grab & Go Service & More

Dear San Ramon Community,

This week, Contra Costa County remains in the orange tier of California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy.

Every Californian 16 and up is eligible for COVID-19 vaccination. Appointments can be scheduled through MyTurnContra Costa Health Services, and several partner providers. Appointments are currently available for a drive-through vaccine clinic in San Ramon tomorrow (Friday, April 23) from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. 

The San Ramon Library and Dougherty Station Library will reopen on MondayApril 26 for Grab-and-Go services, and registration is ongoing for summer camps and recreation programs.

The next City Update will be streamed live on YouTube on Friday, April 30 at 9 a.m., with a focus on parks and recreation.

Appointments Available at San Ramon Drive-Through Vaccine Clinic Friday, April 23

Dozens of appointments are currently available at a drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinic in San Ramon this Friday, April 23 from 9 a.m.5 p.m. at 2641 Camino Ramon.

Appointments are required, and are currently available for anyone 18+ who lives or works in Contra Costa County.

This clinic is in partnership with Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) and a coalition of public safety agencies. Staff from San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District will be performing the vaccinations.

This clinic is for patients receiving the first dose of a two-dose course of vaccinations. Patients will receive follow-up appointments for May 26 or 27 clinics at the same location.

Vaccine Eligibility Open to those 16+ Through State of California & Contra Costa Health Services

Every Californian 16 and up is currently eligible for vaccination. Check myturn.ca.gov or call (833) 422-4255 to get a COVID-19 vaccine appointment. If appointments are not available, you can sign up to be notified when they are.

Vaccine appointments for those 16 and up who live, work, or go to school in Contra Costa County can also be made through Contra Costa Health Services. Residents can register for an appointment online at cchealth.org/coronavirus or by calling 1-833-829-2626People under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to their vaccine appointment, or have a parent/guardian who can be contacted by phone during the appointment.

Healthcare systems, pharmacies and other providers have different eligibility requirements for COVID-19 vaccinations. Visit the CCHS Get Vaccinated page for information about eligibility and how to schedule an appointment with partner providers.

San Ramon Library & Dougherty Station Library to Reopen April 26 for Grab-and-Go Services

San Ramon Library and Dougherty Station Library are currently offering front door service, and will reopen on MondayApril 26 for Grab-and-Go services. Live City Update on Parks and Recreation: Friday, April 30 at 9 a.m.

The next City Update will be streamed live on YouTube on Friday, April 30 at 9 a.m., with updates on parks and recreation from the Parks and Community Services Department.

Residents can submit questions by emailing info@sanramon.ca.gov and including “City Update” in the subject line. Guests will answer as many questions as time allows.
