Planned Protest & Traffic Delays on Wed, June 3

City of San Ramon sent this bulletin at 06/03/2020 02:21 PM PDT

A planned protest is scheduled for today, Wednesday, June 3 at 5 p.m. in San Ramon.

Community members have expressed concern over the destruction and looting occurring in the surrounding areas. The San Ramon Police Department is committed to the safety and protection of our community, and is working with the event organizer and have taken several measures to keep this demonstration peaceful.

The protest march will primarily take place on Bollinger Canyon Road from North Wedgewood Road to San Ramon Valley Blvd, so expect traffic delays in that area.

As a safety precaution for the participants as well as our community, the westbound lanes of Bollinger Canyon Road from San Ramon Valley Blvd to Alcosta Blvd will be closed at 4:30 p.m. for the duration of the protest.
