Earlier this week, the City shared the latest updates to the Public Health Order from Contra Costa County Health Services, which are also summarized below. In addition, this week we have new links to our Virtual Art & Wind Festival activities, and information on how to participate in public meetings, which are now taking place online via Zoom and the City's YouTube channel.
Recent Public Health Order Updates
The latest Public Health Order from Contra Costa County, issued May 18, now allows retail businesses to re-open for curbside pickup, along with related manufacturing and delivery. Vehicle-based gatherings are also allowed under specific parameters.

Virtual Art & Wind Festival
For the safety of our community, this year’s Art & Wind Festival is being held virtually, with a series of daily activities to celebrate festival favorites—from video concerts to kid zone crafts and instructions for making your own candy-coated waffle pops. To take part, visit the Virtual Art & Wind Festival page, follow the City on Facebook and Instagram and tag us in your festivities using @CityofSanRamon #ArtandWindFestival all weekend!
On Monday, May 21, Memorial Day Observances from Arlington National Cemetery will also be shared to honor those who have died in U.S. military service.
Virtual Mayor’s Breakfast
This week’s COVID-19 video update from community leaders was streamed live on YouTube today at 9 a.m. with guests including Mike Conklin, Chairman and CEO of Sentinels of Freedom; Tyler Scott, Lead Pastor at Community Presbyterian Church (CPC), Danville; Dr. Patrick Joseph, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine, University of California; and Candace Andersen, Contra Costa County District 2 Supervisor.

Public Meeting Participation
It’s easier than ever to take part in the public process through live-streamed meetings of the City Council, Commissions, and Committees, which you can join in real time on YouTube, Zoom, or by phone from the comfort of your own home.
Community members are encouraged to participate in the Public Comment portions of the meetings, either by submitting a comment ahead of time, or by requesting to speak live during the designated Public Comment time in each meeting. Specific instructions on how to join each meeting and provide public comment will be outlined as part of each meeting agenda.

CityWalk Draft Environmental Impact Report now Available for Public Comment
The City of San Ramon has released the CityWalk Master Plan Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for public review. The City will be soliciting comments from public agencies, organizations, and members of the public regarding the DEIR. In accordance with the time limits established by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the DEIR public review period began on May 19, 2020 and will end on July 2, 2020 at 5 p.m.
During the 45-day review period, the City of San Ramon will hold a public hearing to provide additional opportunity for public comment on the DEIR. The public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 7 p.m. as a Teleconference Meeting.

A hard copy of the Draft EIR (with the Appendices on CD) is available for purchase at the cost of $65.00; the entire document on CD can be purchased for $15.00. In addition, residents can request an individual appointment to review the Draft EIR document in person at the San Ramon Permit Center (2401 Crow Canyon Road). Crow Canyon Specific Plan (CCSP) Update - Public Review Draft now Available
The City of San Ramon has released the Public Review Draft of the Crow Canyon Specific Plan (CCSP) Update. The Public Review Draft is the culmination of an extensive 2-year public engagement process which provides a focused long-term vision for the Specific Plan area. On May 19, 2020, the Planning Commission held the first of a series of public hearings. Review by the Planning Commission and City Council will continue through the summer with adoption of the Plan anticipated in Summer 2020.
