Fourth of July Beach Party
July 4, 2015
5:00 - 8:00pm
San Ramon Central Park Amphitheater, 12501 Alcosta Blvd
A fun evening of crafts, games and music! Celebrate the 4th of July California style at a retro beach party concert in the park. Bring the whole family, some beach chairs and a picnic.
The festivities will kick-off at 5:00pm with the Swingin' Blue Stars taking us back to the 1940s and 50s singing all those fabulous patriotic tunes like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” and “When the Saints Come Marching In”. Enjoy fun activities including bean bag toss game, lei making craft and temporary tattoos. Participate in a hula dance lesson and see how long the audience can keep a beach ball in the air during the intermission.
The celebration will continue with the California Beach Boys concert. The California Beach Boys are world renown for their precise harmonies that are trademarked by the songs of The Beach Boys (Brian Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Carl Wilson, Mike Love, and Al Jardine). Their performance and entertainment truly pay tribute to The Beach Boys and their contribution to music history.
Admission is FREE. No food or beverage will be available for purchase.
Additional Parking Available at Iron Horse Middle School
There will be no fireworks display.
