Redwood City — San Mateo County supervisors will begin three days of public hearings Monday on the 2025-26 Recommended Budget, a $4.9 million spending plan that funds essential services and programs benefiting the county’s most vulnerable residents. 

Hearings begin at 9 a.m. Monday, June 23, in the Board Chambers on the first floor of 500 County Center in downtown Redwood City. Sessions will continue at 9 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. (Google map link to 500 County Center)

Following public comment, County Executive Officer Mike Callagy will present an overview of the budget, the financial engine that powers an organization serving nearly everyone who lives, works or visits San Mateo County.
