San Mateo County Housing Element January 2025 Public Review Draft

The County of San Mateo has completed amendments to its adopted 2023-2031 Housing Element, in response to comments received from the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). The amended Housing Element, with changes indicated in red text, is available on the County's Housing Element Update website, along with HCD's comment letter, and an inventory of changes by section and page number.

The updated draft will be available for public review and comment until February 3 at 5:00 PM; comments received after this time will not be considered. Please submit any comments on the draft Housing Element, or any questions or other communication to:
