County Urges Residents to Stay Safe from Potentially Life-Threatening Surf
Redwood City — AN IMPORTANT SAFETY MESSAGE from the County's Department of Emergency Management:
With breaking waves to 60 feet, coastal conditions are extremely dangerous today. The National Weather Service's forecast reports very high surf, rip currents, sneaker waves, and coastal flooding through 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 24, for ALL beaches along the Pacific Coast.
Please take caution and:
✔️ Never turn your back on the ocean
✔️ Stay out of the water
✔️ Prepare for coastal flooding & beach erosion
✔️ Avoid bluffs and beaches
