Become an Advocate for Domestic Violence Survivors
Recruitment Underway for New Response Team
Redwood City – Recruitment is ongoing for advocates who will work closely with law enforcement at the scene of domestic violence calls.
Professionals who complete training will have the opportunity to launch the County of San Mateo’s first Domestic Violence Emergency Response Team. This program embeds trained advocates with law enforcement to help ensure survivors get the services they need by connecting with victims at the scene of a call when they are more likely to be receptive to support.
