Hello myCAvax Providers,
The Novavax COVID-19 vaccine will be available for ordering soon. To ensure that San Mateo County Public Health has enough supply, we would like to survey our county providers to gauge Novavax demand at your clinic/site.

***There is a 100-dose minimum order for direct delivery to your provider location. For smaller orders less than 100 doses, local pickup can be arranged at San Mateo County Public Health.
Here are some specifications regarding the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine:
- SARS-Cov-2 recombinant spike protein (5mcg) + Matrix-M adjuvant (50mcg)
- For adults 18 years and older
- Primary series: Two doses of 0.5 ml given intramuscularly at least 21 days apart
- Multi-dose vial containing 10 doses ready-to-use formulation. No diluent required.
- Storage of unpunctured vial: 2° to 8°C. Do not freeze.
- Storage post-puncture: 2° to 25°C for up to 6 hours
