Event: Restorative Creative Arts Gathering and Training for Service Providers
Host: ARM of Care. ARM stands for Art, Recreation and Movement. In our work, we use the creative arts to restore and empower those who have been commercially sexually trafficked and those at risk for exploitation.
Why: We know how important it is for all of us to play… and for those of us who are called into service positions it is important to create time for us to reflect, feel, slow down, play, marvel, appreciate, experience safety, or just find a healthy distraction. This is an opportunity for those of us who are serving the community to come together, take care of ourselves and support each other in being well. Learning to be well is an acquired skill. As we grow in this area of our lives, we naturally inspire others to do the same.
Date: Thursday June 23, 2022, 1-5 pm
RSVP Deadline: Thursday, June 16, 2022, to Amy Schuman Lynch at (925) 709-4ARM or amy@armofcare.org
Cost: $25 per person or $40 per organization (as many folks as you would like!). The money will help us pay for the cost of supplies and snacks.
Number of Participants: We are limiting the number to 20 people.
