Hello myCAvax Providers, 

 

We would like to introduce ourselves. We are pharmacists with the San Mateo County Health COVID-19 Response Unit (CRU) and are overseeing COVID-19 vaccine management for the county. We will be sending COVID-19 vaccine related updates and are available as a resource. 

 

We can assist with: 

  • Providing information on vaccine storage and handling  
  • Addressing temperature excursions, with appropriate reporting and mitigations measures 
  • Reporting COVID-19 vaccine inventory to VaccineFinder 
  • Reporting COVID-19 vaccine waste on myCAvax 
  • Verifying beyond-use-dates and manufacturer expiration dates for COVID-19 vaccines
