Cariño Project Grand Opening
ALAS (Ayudando Latinos A Soñar) launched the new Cariño Project in Halfmoon Bay bringing culture, mental health, and community services to the coastside region of San Mateo County. MHSA stakeholders prioritized a coastside multicultural wellness program during the previous MHSA Three-Year Plan, which has finally come to fruition. Watch the ribbon cutting event to learn more!

The State of California, Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission approved our San Mateo MHSA Innovation project; a cultural arts and wellness‐focused social enterprise café that offers youth development and mental health programming on site.
