MHSA Steering Committee Meeting - Meeting Agenda, presentation and handouts now available
The MHSA Steering Committee assures that MHSA planning reflects local diverse needs and priorities and meets the goals established by MHSA. All meetings are open to the public!
MHSA Steering Committee will held the first Wednesday of March and October each year and combined with the Mental Health Substance Abuse and Recovery Commission (MHSARC), which begins at 3:30pm. The MHSA portion of the meeting will begin at 4pm. Both meetings are open to the public.

Meeting materials are available on the MHSA website, meeting objectives include:
- Provide input on the Plan to Spend Available MHSA One-Time Funds
- Learn about the MHSA Innovation ideas and provide input on the proposed projects
- PIONEERS program for Pacific Islander college-age youth
- Addiction Medicine Fellowship
- Prevention and early intervention services in low-income housing
- Prevention of older adult homelessness due to economic and emotional stress
- Social enterprise cafe for Filipino youth
Stipends are available for consumers/clients and refreshments will be provided. Language interpretation and childcare is provided as needed, please reserve these services by contacting Tania Perez at (650) 573-5047 or tsperez@smcgov.org.
