Temporary Reduced Fare Program Ends after September 15

The Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District (METRO) announces the end of the temporary fare reduction program county-wide on local, Highway-17 Express, and ParaCruz rides expiring September 15th at Midnight. Beginning, Thursday, September 16, 2021, METRO will go back to regular priced fares.

Please be aware that all Reduced Price Adult and Discount Ride Passes [15-Ride, 1-Ride] on the Local and Highway-17 Express service will not work on-board the bus as of Thursday, September 16. If purchasing new tickets, please only purchase tickets that will be fully used before September 16th.
