The San Diego County Board of Supervisors holds public meetings where community members are welcome to attend and share their thoughts. Meetings take place at the County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway, Board Chamber (Third Floor, Room 310), San Diego, CA 92101, unless otherwise noted on the agenda.
New agenda format to help you find what you need
We’ve updated the Board of Supervisors agenda to make it easier for you to read and use.
What’s new
- You will now see one agenda document for each session. It includes the item titles and the recommendations for each item.
- When the Board meets as another governing body — like the Flood Control District Board — those items are now included in the same agenda instead of in a separate document. This helps you find all meeting items in one place.
- You can open Board Letters and supporting documents directly from the agenda using links.
- Item titles follow plain‑language guidelines so you can understand them more easily. We use simpler titles unless the law requires specific wording.
What this means for you
- You can scan the agenda quickly.
- You can open the documents you need without searching through web pages.
- You can get a clearer idea of what each item is about before the meeting.
We made these changes based on feedback from community members who asked for clearer and simpler information through outreach efforts related to a new state law (SB 707). We hope this helps you navigate Board meetings with confidence.

To speak at the meeting in person or by phone, please sign up at https://PublicComment.SanDiegoCounty.gov. On the form, enter your name, choose whether you will speak in person or by phone, and select the agenda item(s) you want to comment on. If you choose to speak by phone, be sure to provide a valid phone number so we can identify your call. You will also be asked to say whether you support, oppose, or are neutral on the item. After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email. If you need the website in another language, click the “Translate” button at the top of the page. Step by step instructions are available online. |

Disability Assistance:
The County is committed to making Board meetings accessible. If you need accommodations, please contact us at least three days before the meeting by calling 619‑531‑5434 (TTY 619‑531‑4803) or emailing PublicComment@sdcounty.ca.gov. If you need a sign language interpreter, call 619‑531‑4908. Assistive Listening Devices are available from the Clerk of the Board’s Office in Room 402.
Please submit accommodation requests at least 72 hours before the meeting when possible.
Interpretation Services:
A Spanish interpreter is available at every Board meeting for those wishing to speak to the Board in Spanish. If you need interpretation in another language, please request it at least 72 hours before the meeting by calling 619‑531‑5434 or emailing PublicComment@sdcounty.ca.gov. The County can also provide space in the Board Chamber’s Observation Balcony for interpreters or for the use of personal devices such as phones or headsets. We can also help connect you with outside interpretation services. Please contact the Clerk of the Board ahead of time so arrangements can be made. Interpretation must not interrupt the meeting, as required by Government Code Section 54957.95.
