Why participate?

Placing a rain barrel under your downspout turns rainfall into free water you can use any time. Every gallon you capture is one you don’t have to pay for, helping lower your outdoor water use and monthly bill. That stored rainwater is ideal for keeping your garden green, refreshing houseplants, or tackling outdoor chores. You get a steady supply of no-cost water right when you need it.

By joining the Waterscape Rebate Program, you can take these simple steps even further to save water and earn rebates. You can use the knowledge, skills, and rain barrel from our workshops in home upgrade projects that capture rainwater and earn you up to $3,000 for additional rain barrels, cisterns, and rain gardens, and up to $500 for gutters that help you capture and reuse rainwater.
