Verification Forms for Your Stormwater BMPs are Headed to Your Mailbox!
SUBMIT YOUR STORMWATER STRUCTURAL BMP VERIFICATION ONLINE
Hello owners of stormwater structural BMPs!
You will soon be receiving your stormwater structural Best Management Practice verification letter from the County of San Diego. Stormwater structural Best Management Practices (or BMPs) are engineered facilities that remove pollutants from stormwater runoff generated by your property.
Owners of structural BMPs are required to verify that their BMPs are properly maintained. Your verification letter will include instructions to help you comply with this requirement.
Maintaining your BMPs will prevent pollutants like trash, oil, metals, fertilizers, and sediment from leaving your property and entering our local waterways.
To learn more about structural BMPs, please visit our “Maintaining My Structural BMP” webpage. If you have any further questions, please contact us at BMP.Program@sdcounty.ca.gov or call (858) 495-5323.
Thank you!
