Tijuana River Valley Regional Park encompasses more than 1,800 acres of diverse, coastal habitat linked by an extensive 22.5-mile trail system. The County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation is working on a project to improve some of the Park’s north-south trail connections, such as adding bridges or other structures, to minimize seasonal closures.
A Coastal Trail Feasibility Study analyzed improvements to multi-use trails that could make it easier to cross over the Tijuana River in four areas. Attend an upcoming virtual public meeting to learn about the study, ask questions, and share your feedback on project priorities. The virtual meeting will be held on the Zoom platform, and a link will be posted the day before the event to: sdparks.org/publicmeetings
For more information, email the Park Project Manager, Krupali Shah at krupali.shah@sdcounty.ca.gov.
