  Dear Food Facility Operators,
The Department of Environmental Health and Quality is sharing information regarding the curfew for Food Facilities in the Purple Tier, or Tier 1. Per the San Diego County Health Order, all restaurants, bars, wineries, distilleries and breweries shall be closed from 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. every day, except for delivery, take-out, pick-up, and drive-thru service. Guests already dining outdoors at 10:00 p.m. may remain until 11:00 p.m. Indoor dining continues to be prohibited.
Restaurant outdoor dining, drive-thru, take-out, pick-up, and delivery and winery outdoor service, take-out, pick-up, and delivery are allowable operations with modifications in the Purple Tier or Tier 1.
Bars, breweries, and distilleries remain closed where no meal is provided (except for take-out, pick-up, and delivery, which is still allowed). If providing a meal, bars, breweries and distilleries shall follow the restaurant guidance for outdoor dining.
Review your onsite Safe Re‐opening Plan or Food Facility Protocols, and if necessary, update it to be consistent with the new requirements.
