Help Keep Our Community Safe
Stay Home Except for Essential Needs
Everyone is required to stay home except for essential needs or to go to an essential job. If you go out, keep at least six feet (or two arms length) a part from others. Actions like these help to protect you and others by preventing the spread of COVID-19.
On March 28, the County of San Diego extended its "Stay at Home" order to remain in effect until further notice.
LiveWell@Home
On Friday, in partnership with the San Diego County Office of Education, we launched LiveWell@Home, a website designed to help all ages stay both mentally and physically fit while staying at home. The resources are organized by age group into categories, including physical activity, mindfulness and social connection to help you find the right tools to match your needs.

We know that partners are working hard to provide resources like these to their communities. For instance, SANDAG's iCommute program has tips to help you transition to working remotely (aka Teleworking). Submit a resource to be considered and we'll share them on the LiveWell@Home website and other channels.
LiveWell@Home
30-Day Challenge
On Wednesday, April 1st, we are launching the LiveWell@Home 30-Day Challenge! To participate, follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram where we will be posting the daily challenges.
Want to help? Send us a short video or link to a lesson, class or how-to that you would like us to share as part of the challenge! Send to LWSD.HHSA@sdcounty.ca.gov for consideration.

COVID-19 General Resources & Materials
FAQs, Fact Sheets, Posters, Postcards and a Social Media Toolkit have been developed that organizations and businesses can use to help keep their employees and the public informed through their communications channels. Keep up-to-date with daily press conferences held at 2:30 pm on the County's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
COVID-19 Support for Businesses, Cities, Schools & Community Organizations
Sector support pages have been developed to ensure the entire community is being provided the support and resources they need to prepare for and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our region. These informational pages provide guidance, announcements and updates tailored to each industry sector.
Volunteer Needs
A volunteer recruitment page has been developed to coordinate all volunteer needs and inquires regarding the new coronavirus response throughout San Diego County.
To post your volunteer opportunities to this page, please complete this submission form (download Word doc) and email it to Rebecca Bennion at JustServe at bennion.rebecca@gmail.com. This will provide visibility to your organization and its needs to thousands of people looking for volunteer opportunities locally.
This is an emerging situation, and the County will provide updated information as it becomes available:
