PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCY PLAN
FIVE-YEAR PLAN FOR FISCAL YEARS 2010-2014
ANNUAL PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Diego will hold a public hearing on March 14, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in room 310 of the County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA. Public testimony can be heard on the proposed Public Housing Agency Five-Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2010-2014, Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2012-2013, Public Housing Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy, and Section 8 Administrative Plan. On or about January 6, 2012, the referenced plans and policies were released for a 45-day public review and comment period.
The Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan is a comprehensive guide to a public housing agency’s policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals. There are two parts to the PHA Plan: the Five-Year Plan, which each PHA submits to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) once every fifth PHA fiscal year; and, the Annual Plan which is submitted to HUD every year. The Public Housing Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy and Section 8 Administrative Plan are the governing documents for the Housing Authority’s administration of its public housing program and Section 8 program.
