Stormwater Pollution Prevention - December Events

We all have a part in keeping our local waterways healthy and preventing stormwater pollution. There are multiple events scheduled in December to help us do just that!

Watershed Warrior Events

The County of San Diego and I Love a Clean San Diego will be hosting two clean-up events during the month of December. If you would like to be a Watershed Warrior and participate in a clean-up event, they will be held at the following locations.

 

December 7, 2019 -- Watershed Warriors Ramona Community Cleanup

Join I Love A Clean San Diego and the County of San Diego for a litter cleanup in Ramona! We will pick up trash around the Ramona Branch Library and surrounding community to divert waste from the San Dieguito watershed and preserve the area’s natural beauty! The event starts at 9 a.m. and ends at approximately 11 a.m., at 1275 Main Street, Ramona, CA 92065 (Ramona Branch Library). To register, please click here. 

 

December 14, 2019 -- Watershed Warriors Julian Community Cleanup

Join I Love A Clean San Diego, the County of San Diego, the Julian Chamber of Commerce, and Nickel Beer Company for a litter cleanup in Julian! We will meet at Nickel Beer Company and make a loop through downtown Julian to divert waste from the San Diego watershed. The event starts at 9 a.m. and ends at approximately 11 a.m., at 1485 Hollow Glen Road Julian, CA 92036 (Nickle Beer Company). To register, please click  here.
