Discounted Rain Barrel Sales Event

The Solana Center for Environmental Innovation and the County of San Diego have teamed up to offer discounted rain barrels to encourage rainwater harvesting through the Rainwater – Catch It San Diego County program. This program offers discounted 50-gallon Ivy rain barrels which can be pre-ordered by clicking here.  

To take part, pre-order your rain barrel(s) by clicking here. Then pick up your rain barrel(s) at the event location.

 

Pickup location for the rain barrel event in the unincorporated county will be:

Water Conservation Garden at Cuyamaca College

Address: 12122 Cuyamaca College Drive West, El Cajon, CA 92019.

Date and Time: November 3rd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

Rain barrels can also be picked up from the Solana Center facility located at 137 North El Camino Real, Encinitas, CA 92027. Pickup is only available during the following hours of operation: Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

The deadline to pre-order is:

October 28, 2018.

 

***An additional discount is available for unincorporated residents only***

Residents of an unincorporated area of San Diego County are eligible for a limited, supplemental discount when a rain barrel is purchased through a County-sponsored event. When purchasing the rain barrel(s), please select the “Unincorporated” button and the discount will be applied upon checkout. 

Discount Restrictions:

1.    Recipient must be an unincorporated resident.

2.    Discount is limited to 2 barrels per unincorporated household.

3.    Discount is limited to the first 200 barrels purchased.
