May 2018 Newsletter | In Focus: Positive Influences
By Tom Seidler, Senior Vice President of Community and Military Affairs, San Diego Padres
The road to wellbeing begins early in life, but it is important to ensure people of all ages have the opportunity to be healthy, safe and thriving. San Diego County residents are living longer than ever before and are eager to make the most of these added years.
The San Diego Padres are committed to supporting the health and wellness of San Diego County residents of all ages. Each year, the Padres help raise awareness of stroke, breast cancer and prostate cancer. The team is also dedicated to ensuring that all youth have access to physical activity opportunities and are able to Play Ball regardless of who they are or where they live.
Join us in supporting Lifelong Wellness by registering for the Live Well San Diego 5K and Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run on Sunday, July 29th at Waterfront Park! To encourage you to make it a day of family fun, we are offering specially discounted tickets to that afternoon’s Padres game against the Diamondbacks using promo code LWSD5K! Proceeds support the San Diego Blood Bank.
