 Students, families, and community leaders gathered to celebrate the installation of new athletic field lighting at Paakuma’ K-8 School and recognize continued investments in water conservation efforts benefiting the Rosena Ranch community.
San Bernardino County Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. joined the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District, San Bernardino City Unified School District, the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, elected officials, and community partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of Fire Station 227, the first fire station to be built on school district property in San Bernardino County.
Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. joined County leaders and community partners to celebrate the grand opening of the expanded Kern Street Adult Residential Facility in Muscoy.
This investment expands the facility from 10 to 40 beds, adding 30 new beds to serve individuals experiencing homelessness, behavioral health challenges, and those transitioning back into the community after involvement with the justice system.
Together with Helping Hearts California, Inland Empire Health Plan, Molina Healthcare, and our County partners, we are strengthening our continuum of care and investing in pathways to recovery, stability, and hope for our residents.
Supervisor Baca, Jr. Appointed to San Bernardino Regional Housing Trust
 This previously approved $950,000 investment is being extended to allow for additional time to complete planned improvements, including upgraded recreational facilities, lighting, and community amenities.
$6.59M in Encampment Resolution Funding for Days Inn San Bernardino
The Board of Supervisors have approved $6.6 million in funding for the operation of the Days Inn San Bernardino which will be turned into 50 units of interim housing for individuals experiencing homelessness, including people living in encampments along the I-210 corridor in San Bernardino and Highland. The fudnding will cover:

MOU with San Bernardino City Unified for Mobile Dental Services
 This non-financial mou between San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) and the county's Department of Public Health (DPH) will allow DPH's mobile clinics to provide dental and immunization services directly at schools for SBCUSD students. Services will include:
