Fourth District Highlights:
Item No. 4 - The Board of Supervisors approved $30,000 in funding from the 2025-26 Fourth District's Board of Supervisors Discretionary Fund - District Specific Priorities Program budget, and $25,000 in funding from the 2025-26 Second District's Board of Supervisors Discretionary Fund - District Specific Priorities Program budget, to assist with purchasing and stocking 13 book vending machines for placement in 13 elementary schools within the Upland Unified School District.
Item No. 37 - The Board of Supervisors approved an update to the contract with the Monte Vista Water District for the Monte Vista Powerline Undergrounding Project, extending the deadline to spend the project funds by 61 days.
Item No. 73 - The Board of Supervisors approved an updated Sewer System Management Plan for the wastewater system at Chino Airport to meet State Water Resources Control Board requirements.
Item No. 78 -The Board of Supervisors approved submitting a $4.95 million grant application to Caltrans to help fund pedestrian safety and infrastructure improvements near Dickson Elementary School in Chino.

Item No. 2 - The Board of Supervisors honored the dedicated service of five county employees by adopting resolutions regarding their retirements:

The Board of Supervisors also adopted resolutions recognizing the Equity Element Group as well as the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials on its 100th Anniversary.
Item No. 121 -The Board of Supervisors reviewed a proposed ordinance to update the rules for Board meetings. The changes would align the rules with the Ralph M. Brown Act, current meeting practices, and other recommended updates. Proposed changes include requiring agendas to be posted on the County website, removing the requirement for speakers to state their name and address, allowing extra speaking time for those using a translator, giving the Chair or Board the ability to adjust public comment time limits, and updating the rules for emergency meetings.
Item No. 126 - The Board of Supervisors conducted a public hearing on the County's 2026-27 Recommended Budget.
Item No. 135 -The Board of Supervisors, acting as the governing body of several County agencies and special districts, approved a new County policy outlining procedures for handling disruptions to teleconferencing services during Board of Supervisors meetings.
The Board of Supervisors meetings are open for public participation. Public access to the San Bernardino County Government Center is through the west doors, facing Arrowhead Avenue. All members of the public entering the building are required to go through a security scan and then sent directly to the chambers.
