Hagman Elected as New Chair of the Inland Empire Health Plan
Rancho Cucamonga, CA - Today, San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman was honored to, once again, be elected Chair of the Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP). Serving over 1.4 million members and over 8,000 providers throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, IEHP is the largest not-for-profit Medicare and Medicaid public health plan in the country.
"I am honored once again to lead IEHP's Governing Board. We have exceptional staff and leadership, and we continue to find ways to innovate and better serve our members," said Supervisor Curt Hagman.
Hagman has served on the IEHP Governing Board since January 2015, serving as Chair form 2018-2020 and again in 2024.
"IEHP is a trusted and highly effective provider that ensures its members can access medical care when and where they need it. From primary care physicians and urgent care centers to a 24-hour Nurse Advice Line, transportation services, and timely mobile phone alerts, IEHP delivers dependable, comprehensive health services. Through these programs, IEHP offers peace of mind and reliable medical coverage to those it serves," continued Hagman.
IEHP has received Health Equity Accreditation by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, awarded to organizations that meet or exceed rigorous requirements for health equity. IEHP is one of only two public health plans in the state to earn this designation.
Supervisor Hagman has served as the Fourth District Supervisor since 2014, representing Chino, Chino Hills, Montclair, Ontario, and Upland (generally below 14th St.). Hagman holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from UCLA. He, his wife Rossana, and his family currently live in the Chino Valley. He is also proud to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the California State Guard.
