Fourth District Highlights:
Item No. 35 - The Board of Supervisors approved Amendment No. 1 to Contract NO. 24-978 with Vellutini Corporation dba Royal Electric Company, for the Chino Airport Light Vault Upgrade Project, increasing the total contract amount by $86,461, to incorporate additional labor, materials, and equipment required to replace the existing Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System.

Item No. 28 - The Board of Supervisors adopted the 2026 County and Chief Executive Officer Goals and Objectives. The proposed revisions address the need for modernization and reflect current initiatives and areas of focus. The Goals and Objectives shall be effective upon Board approval and reflected in Board agenda items beginning with the February 10, 2026, Board meeting.
Item No. 31 - The Board of Supervisors approved fee waivers to support residents recovering from damage caused by the extreme weather event that began on December 23, 2025.
Under Recommendations 1 and 2, plan review and permit applications for impacted San Bernardino County residents will be expedited to the fullest extent possible. Under Recommendation 3 and 4, Standard Gate Rate Disposal fees will be waived, provided the debris is acceptable for disposal and does not contain asbestos, hazardous materials, or other prohibited waste.
Approval of this item helps reduce the financial burden of building plan review and permitting costs, debris removal, and supports the safety and recovery needs of County residents.
Item No. 77 - The Board of Supervisors conducted a public hearing to consider the proposed ordinance relating to regulations for the creation and development of accessory dwelling units and junior accessory dwelling units. The proposed ordinance amends various provisions to Title 8 of the County Code relating to ADUs and JADUs to be consistent with updates to State law.
The Board of Supervisors meetings are open for public participation. Public access to the San Bernardino County Government Center is through the west doors, facing Arrowhead Avenue. All members of the public entering the building are required to go through a security scan and then sent directly to the chambers.
