Countywide Highlights:
Item No. 1 - The Board of Supervisors approved to ratify the action taken by the Chief Executive Officer, while serving as the Director of Emergency Services on December 25, 2025, proclaiming the existence of a local emergency within San Bernardino County as a result of the December 2025 Adverse Weather Event.
Beginning on December 24, 2025, the start of an extreme weather event impacted various sections of the San Bernardino County and Los Angeles County. This event produced conditions of peril to the safety of persons and property within the County, in the form of infrastructure damage from extreme weather.
Due to the extensive damage resulting from this weather event, on December 25, 2025, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), while serving as the Director of Emergency Services, proclaimed the existence of a local emergency.
The Board of Supervisors meetings are open for public participation. Public access to the San Bernardino County Government Center is through the west doors, facing Arrowhead Avenue. All members of the public entering the building are required to go through a security scan and then sent directly to the chambers.
