I had the honor of serving as the keynote speaker at the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce's Holiday Luncheon, surrounded by local leaders, partners, and community partners who all share a passion for our region's future.
During the luncheon, I highlighted the exciting progress taking shape across San Bernardino County, from ongoing improvements at Prado Regional Park and advancements at Chino Airport, to the continued development of ONT Field, The Great Park in Ontario, and the remarkable growth at Ontario International Airport. Each project reflects our shared commitment to smart investment, economic opportunity, and quality of life for our residents.
As we close out the year, moments like this serve as a powerful reminder of how much we've accomplished together and how much there is to look forward to in the year ahead.
Recently, I had the pleasure of joining the Chino Youth Christmas Parade, and it was the perfect reminder of what makes our community so special. Families lined the route, smiles everywhere, as holiday music, decoration, and laughter created a truly joyful scene. Seeing our community come together to celebrate the season was heartwarming and uplifting, moments like these capture the true meaning of the holidays.

Earlier this month, we opened our doors and welcomed friends, neighbors, and community partners to my Annual Christmas Open House, and it was truly a celebration. Thank you to everyone who took the time to join me and share in the holiday spirit, it meant so much to me to be able to connect, reflect, and celebrate together.
I'd like to give a special shoutout to #TeamHagman, whose hard work and dedication made the event another fantastic success. As we close out the season, I wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Holiday, and I look forward to welcoming you back again next year.
At the beginning of the month, I joined partners from across the region for a press conference focused on an issue that touches every traveler, family, and business in San Bernardino County, the I-15. This vital corridor is part of our daily lives, connecting neighborhoods, supporting our logistics and business community, and helping people get to work, school, and important decisions. When the I-15 slows down or closes, the effects ripple far beyond the roadway.
San Bernardino County has so much to be proud of strong communities, growing industries, and some of California's most beautiful landscapes. To continue supporting these strengths, we need a transportation corridor that keeps pace. Today, the I-15 faces real challenges, from congestion and incidents to aging infrastructure, making travel more difficult for residents, visitors, and workers alike. We've all seen how one incident can quickly back up traffic for miles, delay deliveries, and disrupt plans across the region, especially in remote stretches where emergency response can take extra time.
Our firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement officers work tirelessly across long distances and heavy traffic to reach those in need. Supporting them with a reliable and accessible I-15 is a top priority. Improving this corridor is truly a shared effort, and through my work with SBCTA and regional partners like SCAG, we continue coordinating with state and federal agencies on meaningful, long-term solutions.
The formation of a new coalition, bringing together business leaders, labor partners, and policymakers from California and Nevada, strengthens this collaboration and moves us forward with a unified vision. Our goal is simple: a safer, smoother, and more reliable I-15 that supports families, workers, traveler, and the industries that fuel our regional economy. Together, we're working toward an I-15 that meets today's needs and supports the continued growth and opportunity of our communities.
