Fourth District Highlights:
Item No. 29 - The Board of Supervisors approved changes to an agreement with the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) for the Smart County Master Plan. The changes add new projects, like studying the fire agencies' dispatch system and exploring remote emergency communications. They also extended the agreement by one year, through December 31, 2026, without changing the original $1 million funding.
Item No. 91 - The Board of Supervisors voted to extend the El Prado Golf Course lease from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2046, and to take the following actions:
- Updated language regarding maintenance and repairs
- Adjusted the fee schedule to set a minimum monthly fee of $11,000, increasing by 4% annually starting the second year to the 314 acres at Prado Regional Park used for a 36-hole golf course at 6555 Pine Avenue in Chino

Item No. 42 - The Board of Supervisors approved adding $600,000 to the Office of Emergency Services' budget. This money will help cover the costs of running the Emergency Operations Center and pay for technology upgrades. They also authorized the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector to officially update the 2024-25 budget to include this change.
Item No. 86 - The Board of Supervisors, acting for several county agencies such as the governing body of San Bernardino County, San Bernardino County Flood Control District, Board Governed County Service Areas, Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District, and the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District, approved the 2024-25 Mid-Year Budget Report. The board approved budget adjustments, authorized updates to revenues, spending, and reserves, and allowed the purchase of some new equipment not originally budgeted. They also approved changes to staffing for the upcoming year.
The Board of Supervisors meetings are open for public participation. Public access to the San Bernardino County Government Center is through the west doors, facing Arrowhead Avenue. All members of the public entering the building are required to go through a security scan and then sent directly to the chambers.
