Dear Fourth District Residents,
I'd like to invite you to an unforgettable night celebrating the power of student voices and creativity—the Reel Reality Red Carpet Awards Ceremony!
I've partnered with the San Bernardino County Departments of Behavioral Health and Public Health to bring a meaningful and empowering initiative to high school students in the Fourth District. Through the power of film, we're giving students a platform to raise awareness about the heartbreaking impact of fentanyl—and inspiring change through their voices and stories.
Join me on Thursday, April 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harkins Theatres, 3070 Chino Ave., in Chino Hills, as we roll out the red carpet for some of the most talented high school filmmakers in our community.
These inspiring students stepped behind the camera to shine a spotlight on the dangers of fentanyl through powerful short films. Their work is part of Reel Reality—a peer-to-peer video contest that empowers students to raise awareness and help protect one another through storytelling.
Winning entries will become part of San Bernardino County’s official fentanyl prevention campaign, spreading these vital messages far and wide.
This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. To pre-register, please visit the Fourth District Reel Reality website or click on the button below.
Come cheer on these rising stars as they showcase their creativity, courage, and commitment to saving lives.
Let’s give them the recognition they deserve—see you on the red carpet!
Sincerely,
Supervisor Curt Hagman
