Here's a quick roundup from today's (01/28/2025) San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors meeting:
Fourth District Highlights:
Item No. 59: The Board authorized the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator to formalize post-event agreements with the Chino, Montclair, Ontario, and Upland police departments for their support during the Line Fire emergency. These agreements allow the responding agencies to seek reimbursement for costs incurred while providing mutual aid. By approving a standard agreement template and granting the Sheriff the authority to finalize future agreements, the Board is ensuring local law enforcement agencies can recover expenses while maintaining critical emergency response capabilities for the community.
Countywide Highlights:
Item No. 2: The Board adopted a proclamation designating February as National Children's Dental Health Month through 2030. Additionally, a resolution was passed honoring Denise Clupper for her 22 years of dedicated service to San Bernardino County upon her retirement.
Item No. 4: The Board recognized designated members of the Board of Supervisors for their service as County representatives on multi-jurisdictional and County boards. Additionally, the Board appointed members to represent the County on multi-jurisdictional boards through Discretionary Appointments.
