 Empire Strykers Game
I had the honor of kicking off and hosting the Empire Strykers game at the Toyota Arena on January 13th! With my sponsorship we were able to offer free tickets to residents of our Second District. The Empire Strykers are the only professional team in the Inland Empire, and it was amazing to see over 4,000 constituents from the Second District come out to support and cheer them on. A special thank you to Summit High School Cheer for their fantastic halftime performance. It was a great night that brought the community together to celebrate and enjoy an exciting game. Congratulations to the Strykers on their win!
Point in Time Count 2025
On January 23rd, I participated in the annual Point in Time Count, a critical effort to understand and address homelessness across San Bernardino County. By volunteering in this count, we are helping to collect accurate data that informs the development of effective policies, services, and resources for those in need.
I was able to hear stories of some of our homeless neighbors this morning during the count and it was deeply moving. These experiences remind us of the urgency to do everything we can to provide support and opportunities for people to rebuild their lives.
To everyone who participated in this years count, whether near or far, thank you. Your efforts are making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and the community. Together, we are fostering awareness, empathy, and solutions to help those in need.

Guests enjoyed a variety of attractions, including cultural performances, tasty food from local vendors, an artisan marketplace, a kid zone, carnival rides, and a beer garden. With free admission and parking, the festival was an accessible and fun experience for the entire community.
Ephesian's Church MLK Celebration
The Martin Luther King Celebration event was a special evening of jazz entertainment, hosted by Ephesians Church. This event was organized to honor life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose leadership and commitment to equality continues to inspire us all. In addition to the musical performances, the evening provided an opportunity to give back to the community through the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Program in Fontana. Scholarships were awarded to students, with the goal of supporting their educational journeys.

West Valley Water District Check Presentation
I'm excited to share that we've made a significant investment in our community. In partnership with the West Valley Water District, we are committing $100,000 to install three new fire hydrants in key areas. These hydrants are essential for ensuring that homes are within the recommended distance for effective fire protection, which means our firefighters will be able to respond more quickly and efficiently in times of need.
The safety of our residents is always my top priority, and projects like this are crucial in strengthening the infrastructure that keeps our neighborhoods safe. I'm proud of the collaboration with the West Valley Water District on this important initiative, and I look forward to continuing to work together to protect our community.

This project is a community initiative led by the Fontana Police Department to bring joy and support to senior citizens. Thanks to the generosity of local donors, 20 seniors are selected to receive $150 each to shop at Walmart, where they are accompanied by a police officer who helps them throughout their experience. This event helped build warm, genuine connections between law enforcement and our senior community.
