The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters is hosting a series of public events, offering an opportunity for community members to observe key election processes. These events are open to everyone and will provide an inside look at how elections are administered in the county. This is a great chance to see the process in action.
All events will be held at the Registrar of Voters office, with the schedule as follows:

Thursday, October 3, 2024:
- Election Observer Training begins at 8 a.m. and will be completed prior to the start of the Logic and Accuracy Testing.
- Logic and Accuracy Testing of the County's ballot scanners and vote tabulation system begins at 9 a.m. and continues October 4, 2024, at 8 a.m., if needed.

Monday, October 7, 2024:
- Processing of mail ballot return envelopes begins at 7:30 a.m. and is performed daily, Monday through Friday, until the daily workload is complete.*

Friday, October 11, 2024:
- Processing of mail ballots begins at 8 a.m. and is performed daily, Monday through Friday, until the daily workload is complete.*

Tuesday, October 29, 2024:
- Counting of mail ballots begins at 7:30 a.m. and continues periodically, Monday through Friday, until the daily workload is complete.*

Tuesday, November 5, 2024:
- The counting of polling place ballots begins shortly after the polls close at 8 p.m. and continues until complete.

Wednesday, November 6, 2024:
- The official canvass begins at 8 a.m. and will be completed on December 3, 2024.

Thursday, November 7, 2024:
- The random precinct selection for the one percent manual tally of polling place ballots counted on the ballot scanner takes place at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday, November 13, 2024:
- The one percent manual tally of ballots counted on the ballot scanners begins at 9 a.m. and is performed daily, Monday through Friday, until complete.*
- The random batch selection for the one percent manual tally of mail ballots counted on the ballot scanners takes place at 2 p.m.
