The San Bernardino County Fire Protection District hosted a grand opening celebration of its new state-of-the-art headquarters location in San Bernardino.
The County Fire Protection District is considered one of the nation's most forward leaning when it comes to the implementation and integration of advanced technology. This facility highlights the command and general staff, creating better efficiencies, with enhanced response capabilities, and leads to better interoperability between county, public safety, and allied cooperative agencies.
I appreciate everyone who attended my recent shredding event in the City of Chino. Over 300 residents pre-registered and took the opportunity to offload their paperwork securely.
I am really grateful to my incredible team and the City of Chino for making this event possible.
Stay tuned for the next shredding event, coming to a city near you!

I am extremely happy for Scout and his fur-ever family!
In late May, I had the privilege of participating as a panelist at the E-Commerce and Logistics Summit organized by the Inland Empire Economic Partnership. This summit played a crucial role in spotlighting the Goods Movement sector in our region, highlighting its interconnectedness through collaborations between logistics and other industries. It served as a forum to tackle industry challenges and advocate for effective public policies aimed at nurturing the sector's growth and resilience.

Staring this summer, low-income families can ensure their children have adequate nutrition while school is out with California SUN Bucks, also called Summer-EBT (S-EBT), a new federal meal program launched by the California Department of Social Services. SUN Bucks is a new permanent program that helps families with school-aged children buy groceries during the summer months, June through August 2024, when children might not have access to school meals.
