May 2024
Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who lost their lives while serving our nation. Each year, Memorial Day serves a day of reflection and remembrance - dedicated to honoring those who were lost while fighting to protect the freedoms we hold dear. May their lives inspire us to live with immense gratitude and sense of purpose.
Earlier this month, I partnered with the Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA), the City of Ontario, San Bernardino County's Workforce Development, and the Public Defender's Office to host a Job Fair and Expungement event for local residents. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this event a huge success and giving residents opportunities to find great jobs with local employers. I'm proud to say that we had over 30 employers, such as FedEx Ground, Allied Universal, Federal Bureau of Prisons, City of Ontario, San Bernardino County Human Resources and many more, present to connect with job seekers.
Over 600 job seekers came out to speak to employers and stopped by to say hello to me and members of my team (Pictured: Field Representatives Melissa Compani, Suzette Dang, and Ruby Long).
Join me on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, for fun, food, and access to County resources and information.
