Veterans Affairs earns over $1 million in state revenue; ranks number one among 55 California counties

San Bernardino County Veterans Affairs earned $1,002,750 in state revenue generated by Veteran Services Officers (VSO) in claims filed for federal benefits for veterans and their families. The state grants 11 million dollars in revenue each fiscal year to be paid to all 55 counties on a pro-rata basis measured by county VSO office performance.

Operation Consequences: April 20 through 26
Between April 20 and 26, investigators with the Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, and multiple patrol stations, along with personnel from California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Probation, San Bernardino Police Department, Ontario Police Department, Upland Police Department, Fontana Police Department, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations continued the targeted crime suppression efforts of Operation Consequences.
Ribbon cutting celebration held for María Merced Williams and John Rains House
Hands were held high and the crowd cheered as Second District Supervisor Jesse Armendarez cut the ribbon alongside Rancho Cucamonga City Council Member Kristine D.
